THE ORIGINAL PRISMACOLOR PENCIL PROCESS
With a VERY sharp point on prismacolor pencils, I spend many hours... sometimes hundreds of hours on each piece. It takes 40 hours or more to complete a drawing that is 3" X 4.5". Giclee prints are made available with my personal enhancements as limited edition prints made on museum quality watercolor archival paper from my original.

This Original 4" X 6" Prismacolor pencil piece, Solitude, has it's name as I enjoy coming to this beach to "get a grip" as I leave the noise behind. The peaceful feelings received are a reflection of embracing nature. Be with that embrace as we all need a HUG every so often.
Description of the Process:
With a very sharp point on prismacolor pencils and a magnifying glass, I spend 100 to 200 hours to complete an 8" X 10" piece. I use layer upon layer of very small strokes to create a beautiful painterly quality. This takes lots of patience and a steady hand!
When the original is complete, I have Giclée prints made, which are museum quality fine art digital prints on the highest quality of archival watercolor paper.
Once the prints are complete, I rework them individually to give them the punch and glow of the original. Each print is then signed and numbered as a limited edition.
